A Social Hostel in Lima for Solo Travelers

Traveling to Lima alone? You don't have to experience it alone.

Arriving in a new city by yourself is easier when the place you sleep in is built for it. Ayni Living is a social hostel in Miraflores with mixed and female-only dorms, common areas people actually use, and a daily get-together at 8:00 PM so you never have to be the one who starts the conversation.

  • Meet & Drink every day at 8:00 PM
  • Mixed dorms and a female-only dorm
  • Lockers and privacy curtains in every dorm
  • Reception 24 hours in Spanish, English and German

Meet & Drink — Every Day at 8 PM

Every day at 8:00 PM we host Meet & Drink, a social get-together in our common areas so guests can meet each other instead of scrolling alone in a dorm. You show up, you say hi, and the evening usually takes care of itself.

The rest of the activities change from day to day, so ask reception about today's activities when you check in. Reception is open 24 hours and our team speaks Spanish, English and German.

Dorms designed for meeting people (and for sleeping)

Our shared dorms range from four to eight beds, so you get the social side of a hostel without sleeping in a warehouse. Each bed has an individual locker and a privacy curtain, which means you can join in when you feel like it and disappear when you don't.

There is also a female-only dorm with six beds and a private bathroom inside the room, for travelers who prefer that. Rates start at S/45 per night in the mixed 8-bed dorm and S/60 in the female-only dorm, subject to availability.

Places where conversations start

Common areas, a shared kitchen and a terrace make the difference between a hostel where everyone stays in their bunk and one where people end up going out together. Downstairs there is Ayni Coffee for a slow morning; upstairs, Pucará Rooftop for the evening.

Your guest wristband gives you 20% off at the three Ayni Coffee locations in Miraflores, including the rooftop.

A practical base when you arrive alone

Reception is open 24 hours, so it does not matter if your flight lands at 3 AM. Our team speaks Spanish, English and German and can help you sort out how to get around, where to eat and what is worth your time.

  • 24-hour reception and late arrivals accepted
  • Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out
  • Laundry service and free Wi-Fi
  • Walking distance to Kennedy Park and the Malecón
